The Andes Garage is our personal renovation project — a 6,000 square foot building at 143 Main Street in the village of Andes, NY, originally built in 1922 and backing onto the Tremperkill River. We’re undertaking a full restoration ourselves — from the design and construction to the programming and purpose — reimagining the space as a hub for creativity, craft, and everyday essentials in small-town upstate New York.
When complete, it will house a vintage furniture store, a community woodworking shop, and Little Grocer — our own neighborhood market and café serving sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, and cold brew on weekends. Upstairs, there's a light-filled apartment and a future studio for a local architect.
